Foundation Scholarship Check Presentation 12-15 -WP_20151221_002The Delta County Memorial Hospital Foundation is a non-profit organization that acquires and manages funds to help support and maintain the hospital’s programs, services and equipment, and to provide scholarships related to health care education.

The Hospital can benefit the community in so many ways and the Foundation looks to the community as a partner in its efforts to provide the best, most up-to-date health care services possible.

One of the ways you, as a community member, can facilitate this partnership is through a tax-deductible pledge.

Our all volunteer board uses proceeds of our fundraising activities to support the programs and services of Delta County Memorial Hospital. The foundation continues to support a
strong scholarship program for those in the health care professions.

Since its’ inception the Foundation has awarded over $330,000 in scholarship money.

DCMH Foundation contributions during 2016 included $10,000 to support the CU Medical School’s Rural Track Program  which helps bring a third year medical student to our community  for a three month medical residency program.  A donation of $3500 was also presented to North Fork Ambulance,  $2370 for one-half the cost three new AED trainers and an ALS Mannequin and  four compression rate monitors for clinical educational classes/instructors, and $500 to the HopeWest Delta Gala.
